Mary-Kate Olsen has been attending regular outpatient care to
help her recover from anorexia. The pretty actress, who is a
student at New York University with twin sister Ashley, goes to
the meetings to receive professional help for the eating
disorder she suffered from last year.
Despite claims she has relapsed into her old eating habits,
Mary-Kate's spokesman said it was something all patients had to
do when they were released. He said: "She is regularly going to
outpatient care. She goes in New York and Los Angeles. There is
no acute problem right now." Mary-Kate, 18, was discharged from
her rehabilitation clinic last year after spending six weeks at
Utah's exclusive Cirque Lodge centre.
The star was admitted to the clinic last June with her spokesman
saying at the time: "Mary-Kate entered a treatment facility to
seek professional help for a health-related issue. She is
thankful for the encouragement and support of her friends and
family, who are with her every step of the way." For months,
rumours were rife the actress had been suffering from an eating
disorder after she was pictured looking painfully thin.
