Mary-Kate Olsen Speaking to Marie Claire magazine

Mary-Kate Olsen has said she would “never wish” her upbringing on anyone.

The 24-year-old actress has been in the industry since she was a toddler along with her twin sister Ashley. Together, they appeared in shows such as Full House and Two Of A Kind and now have their own clothing collections.

Speaking to US Marie Claire magazine, Mary-Kate said: 'I look at old photos of me, and I don't feel connected to them at all. I would never wish my upbringing on anyone… but I wouldn't take it back for the world.'

She added that her sister Ashley has been a big support over the years.

She said: 'Sometimes Ash and I have to bring each other back, or push each other more. It's really helpful to have another half, we're constantly checking in with each other.'
